Launch Builder for New Business Owners
You’ve got the idea, and maybe a few people have already asked to buy from you. But there’s a long list of things to set up before you open, and nobody tells you which ones come first, which ones can wait, or what any of it costs.
I built the Optima Launch Builder to give you that list in the right order, for your kind of business.
Who it’s for
People about to start a small business, or who opened in the last few months and set it up in a rush. It’s for you if you’re starting this around a day job, school pickup or a family schedule, and you need to know exactly what to do with the hours you have.
What’s inside
- The Optima Launch Builder skill for Claude (.zip)
- A How to Use guide
- A sample report and workbook so you can see what you’ll get
How it works
This is the Launch step on the Optima Path, for new business owners: Launch → Assess → Act → Build → Automate.
- Tell Claude about your business, one question at a time. Pick your type of business from 15 categories, where you are (any US state or another country), whether you’re doing it alone or hiring, and your opening date.
- You get a checklist for each of the six foundations: Vision, Operations, Process, Leadership, Growth and Personal. You start with Vision, so you know what you’re building before you build it.
- Every item tells you which Optima workbook finishes it, what “done” looks like, and how the Optima SOP Builder can fill that workbook in with you.
- Your items are spread over the weeks to your opening date, and a green-to-red status shows whether you’re on track.
- Every Friday you do a quick reset: tick off what you finished, note what else needs your attention, and get your priorities for next week.
What you get
- A checklist for the six foundations, written for your type of business, with lines for your social media, pricing, permits, insurance and first customers
- Your setup steps, with official links for your state if you’re in the US
- Starter tools for your kind of business: website, email, social media, payments, booking and bookkeeping
- Startup costs to plan for, with estimated ranges for US businesses, and your break-even
- Where your first 10 customers are
- Questions to take to your CPA, attorney and insurance agent
- A launch timeline and a weekly Friday reset
- An interactive checklist you tick off in your browser, an Excel workbook, and calendar reminders
- The option to keep it all in Claude and say “Friday reset” each week to update it
This checklist is the baseline for starting a small business. It doesn’t replace accounting, tax or legal advice. Talk to a CPA or accountant, an attorney or solicitor, and an insurance agent about your own business, in addition to this list.
One-time payment, lifetime use in your own business.
